It’s quite unusual for our filters to affect the taste of the water, as they are designed to provide high-quality, great-tasting water with a smooth, spring water flavour.
If you’re experiencing an unpleasant taste, it’s typically due to one of the following reasons:
- Insufficient Rinsing: The filter might need more thorough rinsing after installation.
- Drying Out: The filter media may have dried out if it wasn’t submerged in water for more than 1-2 days.
To resolve this, please rinse the filter according to the manual’s filter rinsing and setup instructions. This should help restore its performance.
To prevent the filter from drying out in the future, ensure that the bottom of the filter remains submerged in water.
